Family Activities
Newgrange Farm is a 333 acre farm situated in the beautiful and
historic Boyne Valley and surrounds the famous National Monument of
Newgrange. This is a genuine family owned and run working farm /
educational facility, where adults and children can try the "hands on"
experience of bottle feeding, feeding, holding, petting, and seeing all
the usual farm animals and poultry.

courses in Ireland. Eric can bore you to tears on which course to play.

Fishing
The river Dee is on the property.
County Meath, is one of
Irelands finest wild brown trout fisheries, encompassing the Boyne
Valley rivers along with a variety of lakes. For the coarse angler
there are many species of fish, including pike, perch, bream, roach,
rudd, hybrids, tench, carp and eels. Fly fishing for trout and salmon
is widely available throughout county Meath in its rivers and lakes. |

Horse Racing / Horse Riding
Navan - fine National Hunt and flat course.
Fairyhouse - Home of the Irish Grand National
Belewstown, - homely atmosphere. 3 day festival in July & 2
day in August
Laytown Beach racing - one of the few left in September, Hope the tide is
out.
Horse Riding -
Kells Equestrian Centre in Carlinstown is hard to beat.
Dunsany - excellent cross country course. |
